The Council
Councillors undertake their duties voluntarily supported by the Parish Clerk.
Meetings
Lawshall Parish Council meetings are normally held on the second Tuesday of each month at 7:30pm in the Village Hall. Meeting dates can be found here: /os-events. All residents are welcome to attend and to bring up any subject for discussion in the Public Forum at the end of the meeting. The agenda is displayed on the Parish Council notice boards in the village several days before each meeting and also here on the website. The notice boards can be found at Rectory Corner, the Village Hall and the School. Minutes can be viewed here on the website or by request from the Clerk.
Code of Conduct
Parish Councillors observe a Code of Conduct, adopted during the meeting in August 2022, which sets out the standards of behaviour that they are expected to adhere to.
Register of Interests
The Register of Interests for Lawshall Parish Council is held by Babergh and Mid Suffolk District Councils Democratic Services and can be viewed here. Each councillor has to declare these.
